What Is Vanish Mode on Instagram?

Vanish Mode is a feature introduced by Instagram in 2020 that allows users to have disappearing conversations. Similar to Snapchat’s disappearing messages, Vanish Mode lets you send messages, photos, and videos that vanish after the recipient views them and exits the chat. This feature can be great for private or fleeting conversations, but some users may find it unnecessary or annoying for regular use. If you decide it’s not for you, turning off Vanish Mode is a simple process.
